How it works

MIMEsweeper for Web scrutinizes all web content and downloaded documents in a five-step process, blocking all pages or files that your company’s security policy does not allow but aren’t listed on any URL Filter yet. The 5-step process reflects the process taken by our MIMESweeper for SMTP product, including the addition of the URL Filtering stage.

The optional URL Filter enhances protection by prohibiting access to blacklisted URLs, as per your company policy.
